Dark Was The Night
36 artistes de la scène alternative se sont mobilisés pour une impressionnante collection d’inédits en faveur de la lutte contre le Sida ! Dark was the night est la 20ème compilation à l’initiative de l’organisation Red Hot qui mobilise depuis 1989 de nombreux artistes pour lutter contre le VIH/SIDA. Après de nombreuses thématiques : brésil, la Country, la Dance ou encore en rendant hommage à Fela, c’est au tour des artistes de la scène alternative de se rassembler pour cette cause. Pour cette édition, John Carlin (foundateur de Red Hot Organization) s’est entouré d’Aaron & Bryce Dessner du groupe The National pour produire Dark was the night sur laquelle on retrouve la crème de la musique alternative.
Pas moins de 36 artistes ont répondu présents à l’appel : Dirty Projectors, David Byrne, Feist, Ben Gibbard, Sufjan Stevens, Antony, Bryce Dessner, The National, My Brightest Diamond, Jose Gonzales, Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings…
